Elf Quest Competition Terms and Conditions

    1. The promoter is: Sunbury Business Association (herein referred as ‘SBA’) whose registered office is at 43 Gap Road, Sunbury VIC 3429.
    2. The competition is open to residents of Victoria, Australia, aged 18 years or over except The Elf Quest committee members, businesses providing prizes and anyone judging the competition.
    3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
    4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    5. Entry is via the Support Sunbury Facebook page on the post of any one of the four Elf Quest videos. To be eligible the entrant must Like and Comment “I saw an Elf at “ with the name of a featured business in one of the videos. 
    6. Only one entry will be accepted per person per video. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
    7. Closing date for entry will be close of business on 18th December 2020. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
    8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
    9. Winners must be able to collect prizes in person at the drawing on 20th December 2020 or from Homegrown in Sunbury by the 4pm, 24th December 2020.
    10. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
      a) ‘LIKE’ the video that you are entering
      b) ‘COMMENT’ “I saw an elf at …” with the name of a business seen in the video!
    11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
    12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
    13. The prizes are as follows:
      Santa Sack gift packs containing items donated by the local businesses. Each gift pack has a retail value over $400.
      The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
    14. Winners will be chosen:
      At random by draw, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.
    15. The winners will be officially announced on the 20th December 2020 via the Support Sunbury website and will be notified by DM on Facebook. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
    16. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
    17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australian.
    20. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
    21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
    22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Sunbury Business Association and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://sunbury.org.au/privacy-statement/.
      • SBA will judge the competition and decide on the winner each week, which will be picked at random from all complete entries via Facebook.
      • SBA‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
      • The entrant must be following @SupportSunbury on Facebook in order to enter.
      • SBA shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
      • SBA also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
